Crooked River is nestled in the Victorian Alps and its headwaters rise high up in the Wonnangatta valley. It has recently gained notoriety due to mysterious cases of missing persons. It is stunningly beautiful, but it has a palpable dark energy, especially at night when the wild dogs howl. Like the location, this track has two distinct themes: one, innocent and pretty; the other, unsettling and sinister.
